For Futurist, the past presents the future. The Cape Town based artist and Future Nostalgia co-founder is somewhat of a New Age archeologist - a deep digger & myth-maker seeking out the futurism in ancient ritual, tools & practices, which for him become mediums of community cultivation. As a painter, graphic designer, and illustrator, he applies the same fundamentals of these crafts to his work as a sonic artist. His psychedelic trance emanates with ancient futuristic elements that serve as both escapism and education - immersive pools of enlightenment that has seen him shift spaces from jazz clubs & festivals, to art galleries & club nights.
