You may know him best as the voice of Swedish Grammy award winning experimental DJ / Rap quartet Off The Meds. Or you might know him as an official Clap Clap Club member, and one half of the Kamohelo and Magnus project. Around here, we call him Michael Dangerous. Kamohelo Khoaripe is a 31 year old proudly South African artist renowned for his diverse catalogue of music at the essential Swedish label, Studio Barnhus. Born and raised in Johannesburg until the age of 22, he’s lived most of his adult life in Stockholm, where his journey in music began. Kamohelo has graced stages all across Europe and slightly beyond over the past decade, and after returning to South Africa in 2021, has formed part of vibrant local and international collaborative projects. He can be found at various gigs DJing under his Michael Dangerous alias - and at Search, duh.
