Are you nuts about bolts? Do you love to salvage, solder or saw? You can assist the production team with all the physical work needed to build-up the multifaceted foundations of Search Festival. We’ll be building stage structures, working with wood, wire and steel, and using ladders a lot. Stamina and a love of Tetris go a long way for this position, and we’re prioritising experience in production or knowledge of power tools.

You take responsibility for your actions, make sure the gear doesn’t go unsupervised and the place stays tidy. You’re also a team-player and know how to communicate with your crew, in an efficient and accurate way. While you will not be asked to work during the festival, you will be expected to troubleshoot and address any technical failures that occur.

Signing volunteers in and out of shifts, directing volunteers to team leaders. Pretty simple, but a very important job — you help us know who is missing from duty! Functionally the AA for the administration team, you will help keep files folded and folders filed at HQ. A love of Excel sheets and keeping track of all and sundry are very valued here. You are also the Information Station's best friend – things logged there get logged here. If you can say Admin Assistant's Assistants really fast, that will also be very entertaining for everyone involved and counts highly in your favour.
